7 Things I Learned from Therapy.
A journey that changed me for the better.
We might not realize it, but as we grow older, we become vulnerable, low on confidence, mentally distraught, and lost. We barely have anyone to talk to about our insecurities, loneliness, and life problems.
Deep down, it shatters us and makes us feel worthless. I had a time in my Life when I also felt these emotions boiling inside me like a red-hot lava. So, I finally decided to go to therapy as it was taking a significant toll on my lifestyle.
When I decided to go to therapy every week, I finally found a space where I could speak freely and learn a lot of things I did not know about myself.
It completely changed my perspective on “How I Looked at Myself.” It was a journey of learning. And today, I want to share the 7 important things I learned from my therapy.
1. “Everything is not about you.”
When I started taking therapy, one thing I always used to say to my therapist was that I felt insecure about myself. I always wanted to do things the perfect way. I always had this weird idea that I was at the center, and everyone was watching me very closely and waiting for me to make a mistake. So I tried my best to be as perfect as possible.
