Success means different things to different people, but most agree that it is not just about wealth, but about a sustained experience of contentment, joy and well-being. A lot of that depends on how we respond to life’s challenges or day-to-day situations.

That’s where Emotional Intelligence comes in.

Emotional Intelligence, otherwise known as EQ (emotional quotient) is our ability to understand, manage, and monitor our emotions constructively.

If we are emotionally mature, we can handle any crisis or challenging situation with calmness, confidence and grace.

But, interestingly, often we see around us people who are struggling to handle their emotions; those who get irked, upset or emotionally drained easily.

But the good news is that we can develop a better EQ and enjoy a better quality of life.
