How To Nail A Presentation
It’s so effective it looks almost unfair.
Many people think they need to master PowerPoint or Canva to deliver great presentations.
I used to be one of them — and I was wrong.
It’s time to stop agonizing over transition effects or font choices and start obsessing over rehearsing your presentation.
Why?
Because rehearsing is the silver bullet for delivering a memorable presentation.
But —
You have to do it right.
You must know what to say, when to say it, and how to say it
What?
Yes.
Now guess what: there’s only one way to achieve this: rehearse, rehearse, and… rehearse some more.
Just look at Steve Jobs. The guy was known for rehearsing his presentations for weeks. No wonder he gave such a . For example, if you watch closely, you’ll notice him stepping away from the center stage at the exact moment the text “MacBook Air” appears.
If you think that was mere coincidence, think again. You can bet he planned it and, to make it work, rehearsed — a lot.
The truth is, an average slide delivered by someone who rehearsed will always beat a magnificent one delivered by someone who didn’t.
Of course, if you have time to work on both, go for it. But if not, devote more time to rehearsal than to fine-tuning the slides.
Your audience will thank you.
