I have a strict aversion to any form of concentrating my soul’s quest into specific adjectives.
So, when us writers were asked to pick a word that resonates the most with our journey in this life, I almost gasped at the audacity of the ask.
you really know how to challenge our hearts and heads with all the important questions!
Finding my word
I was at a Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing session recently where the guide asked me to write down on the prayer scroll, a short line that would set my intentions for who I want to be. Yikes again.
I panicked for a bit before calming down and wrote ‘I am an open-hearted explorer.’ That was my prayer.
Going off of that, if there’s one (one!) word that passes the vibe check upon sniffing, it is ‘Seeker’.
The seeker in me comes out to play more than the others, and that’s what I identify with and hope to identify with for the long run.
I have this thing where I feel distinctly other from the things around me, so I seek to understand their nature…
