I hate this too, friend. I have to point out something that’s been going on for some years now. It’s a blindspot for a lot of people in the modern dating landscape.
Since we have dating apps, most people multi-date. Not to be confused with polyamory, which is a whole different thing. (Maybe I’ll go into detail about what multi-dating is nowadays. There’s not a lot online about this.
In addition to that, a lot of people are sleeping with people while they’re in the dating process. Some people drag out the dating phase for months on end. Not only are they going on dates with these people, they’re sleeping with them, introducing them to friends, going on vacation with them, and letting them babysit their pets. All while not having the official talk.
Too many people lead people on. Too many people make it feel like they’re in a relationship, but at the end of the day they’re not.
Situationships are all fun and games until you’re forced to be snapped out of your delusion.
Let me put it plainly…
He can be texting you every day, seeing you several times a week, sleeping over every other day, cooking…
