Two Not-So-Talked Reasons Why Women Get More Matches In Dating Apps
Why women match with much fewer men, and what men can do.
From time to time, I’d come across content talking about how many men have a much harder time getting any match, whereas women usually have no issue getting many.
I’ve been on dating apps before and as a woman, I did get lots of matches, to the point of having to take considerable time to select the ones I’m really interested in.
While it might seem imbalanced, the reasons why this happens might have been less obvious for many people.
Not-so-obvious reason #1 — different dating pre-selection strategies
As someone who loves learning about relationships, I came to learn that men usually try their luck by gathering as many opportunities as possible, and then see which ones could work out, while women are usually more selective with what opportunities they let themselves in.
This translates into patterns where men match with as many women as they can, usually being more about quantity, whereas women usually take their time to select the profiles they resonate with, focusing more on quality.
