Where connections grow, love blossoms, and fragrance spread

Pep talk for the modern era

--

Irony is the saliva of the modern age. We want to whip ourselves into shape with sardonic jokes and catchphrases.

Guess what?

Irony sucks.

Irony is the vestige of the hurt, the burdened, the insane.

Here’s some truth for you today :

-You are loved no matter what.

-you are loved even if you fail

You are loved even if you have difficult relationships

You are loved no matter what.

You can:

  • Write the blog post
  • Take the trip
  • Go to graduate school ( if that’s what you’re into)
  • Confess your deep feelings for someone
  • Get rejected and survive — as difficult as this is for some people. Rejection creates deep wounds. Sometimes we can’t even see how rejection has affected us, the wound goes into the core and festers there for long periods. We suddenly become dark, brooding, moody. Rejection pierces us that way. But you don’t have to carry rejection with you always. You can uncover where rejection lies, and look at the ugly green monster that is festering there. Rejection calls up feelings of self hatred. We feel unworthy, of love, of inspiration of magic. Life suddenly becomes a mystery. We just can’t figure out how to move forward- because if you don’t accept the rejection and college it and how it made you feel, you continue to feel those ugly feelings of unworthiness .but you deserve roses, you deserve birthday cake, kind words and flowers, not cruelty and manipulation or any other horrible things.
  • SO GO FOR IT
