When Trump first announced his presidential candidacy, I considered it a joke. I had been familiar with his deceitful business practices for many years. My mother, who lived in New Jersey, was addicted to gambling and frequented casinos around 2003, so I was aware of the TAJ MAHAL and its bankruptcy. I read numerous articles about it.
I also knew a few people who attended TRUMP University, so I followed the first class action lawsuit. I recall watching The Apprentice and finding it distasteful and stupid, never understanding how so many people could enjoy it. Of course, numerous signs indicated America’s decline way before Trump, like inflation each year, fewer opportunities, unaffordable rent, zero social life, unaffordable healthcare, and real estate.
