Just redirect

Three young girls are playing in a sandbox at a park, dressed in colorful outfits. One girl in a pink dress holds a yellow bucket, another in a denim jacket touches the sand, and the third in a light pink dress gestures excitedly.

Hi Fellow Playground Parents!

This group is so incredibly supportive that I wanted to share something I’m starting with Paisley this week. I know we’re all about raising excellent kids and helping them thrive and grow, and what I’m trying now is called Positive Parenting. Instead of saying “no” all the time, you simply redirect your child to do or say something else. I saw a video where Kim Kardashian did this with her kids and it was amazing.

Can you help me by not saying “no” to Paisley this week, but instead redirect her? This means giving her a different toy or asking her to think about something else.

For any new members, she’s got blonde hair like mine and I’ll put a pink paisley ribbon in her ponytail all week. Get it? Paisley on Paisley!

Namaste, Poppy Miller

Hi Again!

I’ve gotten a lot of feedback in my DMs in just twenty minutes, and all I can say is thank you to the supportive people and to the skeptics, just please give it a go. All of our kids will benefit from a more positive environment.
