As a person somewhat obsessed with progress, the idea of an Apple Watch or Fitbit made absolute sense to me and seemed to fill an obvious void in the marketplace that I wish I had thought of first.
Continuous tracking of various health aspects including activity levels, sleep patterns, and even now heart health monitoring via EKGs seemed like a scene pulled straight from a sci-fi movie.
