Kona has been in the wind for a few days. Moreover, there are a lot of eruptions in Kilauea, and of course, the smoke comes to us with Kona winds. You don’t smell it directly, but when you scratch your nasal passages from time to time, you realize its presence.

Mauna Loa and Kilauea are still active volcanoes on the big island of Hawaii. These days, Kilauea rumbles and rumbles, and the volcano goddess Pele stands up, waving her fiery hair. Kona brings not only volcano smoke but also heat and humidity.

There is plenty to do in the garden, but do I want to work in the garden in this weather? I take our little turtle outside and smell the seedling full of green tomatoes. Yes, it’s full of tomatoes, but we haven’t eaten a single tomato from this seedling, and every time it starts to turn red, something eats the tomatoes. I will plant black-colored indigos that I grew from seed instead. I put the green tomatoes in my pocket and go home.

Charley is watching the world news on TV. On the Canadian news channels, the Zelensky and Trump meeting is on the screen. He switches to the BBC and it’s the same scene again. The same goes for French and German channels. The only one not mentioning this meeting…
