They were wrong. Dead wrong. They never thought it would include their own son — a green card holder who followed the law.
But here they are. Their son is now in ICE detention. Débora Rey said Trump had been “very clear” that his immigration policies wouldn’t reach people like her son.
“It was a massive deception, what [Trump] did,” she said. “He’s a liar… We feel betrayed, tricked. This is craziness.”
