Joe Biden Never Pushed for a Ceasefire in Gaza
Wake up and acknowledge the suffering of Palestinians
I’ve seen a lot of debate — and by debate, I mean predominantly white liberals online — insisting that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were, in fact, pushing for a ceasefire while Israel was carrying out its assault on Gaza. This comes after much criticism of their respective responses to the genocide in Gaza from the Left.
Now this is obviously a pretty indefensible position to take. But in my opinion, Liberals are clinging to it because, in their mind, it absolves them of any guilt for voting for the people who allowed the genocide in Gaza to happen and get to the level it has. If Biden or Harris were pushing for a ceasefire, then to them it would mean that they were on the side of good and not giving a stamp of approval to one of the worst crimes in recent memory.
Unfortunately for them though, the facts do not match up with this whatsoever.
It’s clear to anyone who was actually paying attention to this that neither Biden nor Harris ever pushed for a ceasefire. Biden and t going to change from Biden’s policy on Gaza at all; the same policy that led to the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians.

Despite that, a recent series of posts from DropSiteNews really puts this whole insistence from liberals to bed once and for all. This actually comes from Israeli channel 13 which found that at no point during the time he was president did Joe Biden push for a ceasefire in Gaza at all.
It’s worth noting that the investigation involved looking into many US officials and showed, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that they were fully aware of what was going on. During this time, Israel brought destruction to Gaza to a horrifying degree, and even when it was clear that they weren’t fulfilling their stated goals of destroying Hamas, they continued their onslaught.
Another point that people often fail to mention is that Israel has said over and over again that even if they got all the hostages back, it wouldn’t be . And with their recently stated plans to , I don’t think this could be any more obvious.
What the investigation revealed
Back to the recent investigation. One of the things that was mentioned and also something that people have talked about for quite a long time is the fact that the Biden administration did their utmost to protect the Israeli state from accusations of war crimes.
Granted, this is not something that was exclusive to Biden and Harris. Politicians from across the West always danced around this topic as a means of protecting the image of Israel. Keir Starmer and the previous British Prime Minister, . Starmer even and water to Gaza which he was criticised highly for by the Left.
Throughout this time, there was massive pressure on Biden and Harris to push for a ceasefire, and I keep seeing liberals claim this is something they were pushing for even though it’s not true.
Sure, you can cite quotes from Biden or Harris where they may have expressed lukewarm support for Palestinians, or even timidly mentioned a ceasefire, but the fact remains, this was never something they were pushing for.
Red lines, complicity, and political performances
Even when Biden briefly halted shipments of bombs to Israel due to concerns about their use in civilian areas, he immediately gave in once Israel criticised Washington. would be his “red line,” but what did he do once Israel invaded Rafah? He continued to give them weapons and support them by any means.
You also have the fact that he continued weapons so they could carry out their assault on Gaza. These are not the actions of someone who is serious about putting an end to the conflict or someone who is trying to secure a ceasefire for the sake of Palestinians. Harris also said she would carry on Biden’s policy on Gaza unchanged, and her also said they were committed to Israel.
“God did the State of Israel a favor that Biden was the president during this period… We fought [in Gaza] for over a year and the administration never came to us and said, ‘ceasefire now.’ It never did. And that’s not to be taken for granted.” —
If Biden truly was serious about standing up to Israel and securing a ceasefire in Gaza, he would not have been utterly complicit in what they were doing to the Palestinians. What’s worse about all of this is that I’ve seen liberals in the last few days say this investigation from DropSite is wrong and that Israel is simply lying about this, and the question I would ask to that is simply why?
Sure, Israel’s government (and all governments) , but what would be the incentive for them to lie about this? They have nothing to gain by saying Biden actually was calling for a ceasefire; they already have everything they want. Again, Biden gave them weapons and never let up support for them. Even after they crossed his supposed red line, he was still behind them 100%.

Despite all of this, and claimed that Harris was “working tirelessly for a ceasefire in Gaza.” Now, I want people to think about that for a second.
She got on stage and lied about something as serious as that, all the while knowing that Harris was not only not pushing Israel for a ceasefire, but that she was never going to. All the while knowing that the continually subject to slaughter. It takes a special kind of evil to do something like that.
At the end of the day, what liberals will never contend with or admit is the fact that while Joe Biden was president, tens of thousands of Palestinians were mercilessly slaughtered by Israel, and he did nothing to stop it. He could have stopped sending weapons to them at any time, but he actively chose not to because he supports Israel doing so.
