Is Jasmine Crockett in a “Hot Ass Mess” After Mocking “Governor Hot Wheels?”

Much ado about nothing!

Unless you’ve been under a rock — or perhaps as overworked and oblivious as I was this past week — you’ve probably heard about the flap over Jasmine Crockett’s remarks on Governor Abbott at the Human Rights Campaign. That’s where she unceremoniously referred to him as “Governor Hot Wheels” after saying “We’re in these hot ass Texas streets, Honey.”

“Y’all know we have Governor Hot Wheels down there, c’mon now? The only thing hot about him is that we have a hot ass mess, Honey!”

What’s wrong with that?

It seems that Abbott has been in a wheelchair since 1984 when a tree fell on him. As such, conservatives are saying Crockett is “ableist.”

Oh, please.

Where were you when Trump infamously made fun of a NYT reporter with a congenital condition that prevents him from using his arms freely?

There’s a term for this: selective outrage.
