I Have a Question for the Trump Voters
Why do you call America the Land of the Free?
I still can’t believe this is all real. That my fellow Americans have voted to hand our country over to the least of us. We used to be smarter than this. Until Bush demolished any chance at a real education and our politicians sat back accepting donations from the new tech companies they couldn’t ever summon the brain-power to regulate properly.
We’ve been caught in a downward spiral ever since. Well, that’s not entirely true. The downward trajectory started long before then…
When I look at the list of things from the past that led here I’m overwhelmed by just how many people engineered this. Trump didn’t do this. I’m not even 100% sure that man can tie his own shoes, let alone lead a world power to ruin.
No. Trump is just the frontman — the face, the fallguy. After all, the rigging of our Supreme Court and the campaign against abortion started long before he entered the political arena. Trump is the catalyst, not the mastermind.
What (and who) is behind him? I don’t claim to have those answers. But I can speak to the mentality of his voters. I was raised by a troop of them. And for those people, I have a question I’d like to ask:
