Five Reasons Why Conservative Men Hate Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is one of the celebrities most loved by women and girls, but most hated by many men
What could be more iconic than getting millions of women to sing “Fuck the Patriarchy” in full stadiums around the world for three years? We don’t give Taylor Swift enough credit for this. But apparently men do.
This April marks the anniversary of Taylor Swift’s album, The Tortured Poets Department, and a year ago, while busy with The Eras Tour, her new music, and attending her boyfriend’s football games, she (somehow) earned more hate from men.
Then last February, during one of the biggest events of Western masculinity, the Super Bowl, the singer got booed. She was there, as in past games, to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Many sports fans have turned against Swift, whom they believe gets far too much television time during the games; she was stealing the spotlight every time. Swift turned the NFL into Taylor’s Version, bringing hundreds of women into football, that sacred space for stereotypical men.
