En Garde!
Perpetual state of self-defence
Perpetual state of self-defence,
Not questioning the if but the when, hence
The realisation of last part of a life in suspense.
“Learning how to dance in the rain!”
I wished was as easy as it is to write it down!
Pulling the panic handle to trigger awareness
And yet still my bones freeze
The top of my head electrize.
Here we go again — think carefully
And yet it all sounds pitifully.
— Look from another perspective!
— Make it sound more positive!
Love your enemy, they needed most!
In the depth of waters under that fake smile,
Lies the Mermaid Ursula,
A sergeant stuck in a chubby body,
With sensual needs unfulfilled,
Indulges in salty pleasures.
When challenged in a sword fighting,
Constructive feedback is her armour.
En Garde, you nasty witch!
You need me more than I need you! she laughs away.
