There’s a reason I’m the parlor’s number one masseuse
Walking into the spacious room, the two massage beds I set up this morning are separated by about four meters and stand close to either side of the room.
My two clients for the two-hour slot — a husband and wife — have already been welcomed in by our receptionist Hannah and are lying on their backs on their respective tables, with a small fluffy white towel covering only their sexes.
The multiple candles I have placed around the room have been lit for hours now so the room smells of my favorite gorgeous fig and pear scent and there’s a soft glow emanating from the flames.
They both seem relaxed already, so I’m guessing they aren’t strangers to a massage. Both look at me happily as I move about with my arms full of oils I smile at them warmly, my eyes raking over the two of them.
The husband’s hot.
“Welcome to The Relief Spa. I’m sure our lovely Hannah explained that your eyes will be covered with cool cucumbers for the duration of your massage, and earphones will be placed in your ears with a calming guided meditation.”
