Uber, Hertz, Tesla are electrifying urban transport
Last October’s between Hertz and Tesla whereby the car hire giant would buy 100,000 Model 3 vehicles was huge news on the markets, and largely responsible for Elon Musk’s company reaching for the first time.
One of the fruits of that agreement has been Uber’s alliance with Hertz so that its drivers could rent those Tesla vehicles for about $300 a week, obtaining considerable savings in their operating costs by replacing fuel–nowat record highs in the United States and half the world — with electric recharges and be listed in the Uber Green alternative on the app and receive an extra dollar for each service.
So far, some 15,000 Uber drivers have decided to join the initiative since it began , and : more than five million trips in Tesla vehicles, almost sixty-five million kilometers, and pride in being part of the solution to our environmental problems, in addition to savings and incentives.
