Two years ago, I packed up my life and moved into a campervan. Not because it was trendy, but because I needed a way out. What I found was something much bigger than a tiny home: simple, slow living. Here’s what I learned, so you don’t have to uproot your life to figure it out.

In a world dominated by scary politics, rising costs, housing crises, climate anxiety, and endless pressures, simple living might be simpler than you think. And probably more needed than you think.

Not everyone wants to live in a campervan, and honestly, you don’t have to. But there’s a lot to take away from this lifestyle—lessons about simplicity, flexibility, and what really matters.

If you never try, you’ll never know

What started as using my campervan as a tool for survival in a crazy housing market, evolved into becoming a place of discovery. I learned about myself, my values, and how to live in a way that feels meaningful. I learned about the countries I drove through and the places I visited. I found hidden gems and discovered the beauty of unbeaten paths.
