Losing my dignity
A slippery slope ignited by disability
I’ve done things that I could never imagine having to do.
There is a trigger warning that in this post I will be talking about bowel movements.
The above image is me after raising £650 at a bucket collection for charity and being the guest of a sports club to watch the match stuck in a lift. I was in there for 90 minutes as they had to wind the lift down by hand.
But that was a whole four days ago.
It’s in the past.
Surely nothing else can happen in this short space of time?
They say things happen in threes, but sometimes I think it should be thirty threes.
Due to health detoriarating, which has also led to a lack of writing from me I’ve had to change care companies.
One day the appointment is 6am and the next 11am. When I queried the lateness of the 11am appointment, especially as I’ve been expected to have lunch at 10.30 some days; I was told we will be here at 8am tomorrow.
Just after 11.30am they turn up. My regular carer apologised as he had been taken off me. He was really thorough, thoughtful and nice.
