Prompt #18 — Possession
Raven was livid over losing Doug for a reason as old as time. He was in love with someone else.
But it wasn’t Raven’s style to show anger because she avoided conflict at all costs. The problem was that it was eating her up inside, until finally, she couldn’t contain her rage any longer.
She felt a wave of jealousy so dark and evil that it changed everything. That’s when the green-eyed monster revealed itself, and Raven had never felt so free, because she could finally start speaking her truth. It was quite the mind/body experience, a total transformation. Even her belly looked different, the skin so translucent she could see through it.
Raven felt grateful that the demon chose her, and it was the green-eyed monster that encouraged her to do what would have only been unthinkable before.
It was time to visit Doug’s mistress, Danielle.
Raven crept towards the house, and when she reached the porch, she discovered she had dark green claws that she could slowly, terrifyingly, drag over the front door.
