Shadow Work
Digging in the darkness helps shed the light
Self reflection takes a high level of honesty about the issues encountered in your shadows. I have been deep sea diving since the beginning of Scorpio season and I still haven’t even touched the floor at the end of Sagittarius season.
The level of honesty that is required needs to acknowledge the root of self imbalances. A discovery I have made in the depths of my shadows is that I lack self confidence. My lack of self confidence looks something like questioning my decisions, confused intuition, people pleasing, putting other people’s feelings above my own, and a struggle with communicating my feelings due to avoiding the response/reaction from the person(s) I am dealing with. I took the first step in recognizing the problem, the next step is doing something about it.
I may lack confidence now, but as the creator of my reality, I am changing that. I am unlearning the behaviors that stunt my confidence and I am replacing them with behaviors that water my confidence into a garden of Eden.
Changed behavior does not happen overnight. It takes consistency, repetition, honesty, and a lot of self talk. Affirmations are reminders of the truths that already exist within you. The question is, do you live and believe them?
