Road Rage
Road rage is a strange phenomenon to me. It feels like all the anger people carry around just bubbles to the surface the moment they get behind the wheel. I’ve definitely been frustrated — like when people don’t use their blinkers or when someone’s weaving between lanes because they’re glued to their phone — but I’ve never felt the need to flip someone off. I honk only if I think it’ll help avoid an accident. Life’s too short to get upset over things like that. And if something seems truly dangerous, I just call the police.
So why do people road rage?
It seems like there are a few common reasons:
- Carrying stress from other parts of life
- Dealing with bad or inconsiderate drivers
- Getting stuck in heavy traffic
- Running late and taking it out on others
How to Avoid Road Rage
