People say success is just about hard work, not luck. But mostly, they haven't had to fight for survival. Even if they face challenges, what about the privileges they refuse to acknowledge?

“Privilege is invisible to those who have it.” — Michael Kimmel

“I did my first solo trip at the age of 21 and got my first car by 22.”

I’m sure many of you have seen such posts, videos, or pictures and got consumed by feelings of uselessness. Frustration. Immense anger.

Life is so unfair. Success actually looks like this. Meanwhile, here I am, wasting my 20s being a corporate slave.

I used to think I was a failure, too. Someone who wasted her potential, until I realised I never even had the same starting point.

I used to wonder if I was just too sensitive.

But the pain that used to live in silence went away when I had this realisation...

This isn’t about blaming anyone. It’s about understanding. About realising that if you’ve ever felt broken, behind, or unworthy, you’re not alone.
