You Can Understand Everything Else by Knowing This Wisdom Quote by Jiddu Krishnamurti
Understanding “The observer is the observed”
There are and have been many philosophers, mystics, and spiritual leaders whose teachings delivered great value and also caused great confusion. I spent the last 15 years in search of an authentic philosophy to pursue what is called “reality” or "truth.” My pursuit was intellectual, to begin with.
Deepak Chopra and Osho affected me most for their erudition and action program. The likes of Eckart Tolle and Abraham Hicks helped my understanding of the matters of the mind and its connection to universal energy.
For the last 10 years, I immersed myself into various meditations to gain an experiential insight — Vippasana, Shivyog and Sadhguru’s Mandala Sadhana being some noteworthy additions.
My intentions were pure. I truly wanted to attain something which is talked about and glorified endlessly in the Hindu religion. That something which is more than our worldly existence of daily living.
It took time for me to realize that there is to be no pursuit. There is no distance to be covered, and hence no journey and no time are needed.
