The 5 Words I’m Cutting Out to Improve My Life
The fastest way to feel lighter and more positive
Words are affirmations of how you want to live your life.
I didn’t fully connect the dots until recently when a friend called me out on a word I’d been using constantly in our conversations.
To be honest, when she flat-out told me it was annoying, I instinctively tried to defend myself.
But then I paused and realised… she was right.
I had been using this word A LOT. Too much, in fact. And it wasn’t helping me — it was dragging me down.
So, I’ve decided to eliminate this word from my vocabulary, along with a few others I’ve been leaning on lately, to get myself back on track and cultivate more positivity.
How it all started
I have been feeling anxious in the last year or so.
It started when I was deciding whether to move back to Australia. After I finally made the leap, I was the most positive I’d been in ages — happy to be back and starting fresh.
But that happiness didn’t last long. About 2 months into my new life Down Under, I felt anxious again — this time about my job situation.
