Malodorous

Love is crack, a fetid

fatigue, wafting smoke

through my genes, so

addicted, plucks and

shatters my flesh, making

musky, cold dreams —

your stink scent

last moments, retires memories.

This one-line poem prompt, for this week, is inspired from “Cracks,” a poem written by Jennifer Marie Gady.
