Killing Regrets
Breaking regrets that haunt you
I wish it were like clay
Things I wish I didn’t say
I’d turn it into a cup
Then crush into dust
I wish it were like rain
The places I never went
I’d evaporate into the sky
And travel the world till I die
I wish it were like the wind
Things I feared for so long
I’d turn it into a storm
With a lightning bolt destroy it all
I wish it were like fire
Worries I carried for years
I’d feed the flame
Till nothing remains
I wish it were like the sun
Relentless regrets
Over things unsaid and done
Like dark, endless nights
I’d turn them into light
