When I Trust in Myself, I Trust in The Universe
How trusting myself helped me to trust in life and my purpose
One of my biggest lessons in this lifetime has been learning to trust myself and my intuition.
I was taught as a child that I didn’t know what was best for me. I was taught others knew me better than myself and it was wrong for me to trust myself and my intuition.
Since I was little, I have always known what my purpose was. My purpose has always been connected to the natural world and being a bridge between the spiritual and material worlds.
I knew from a young age that I was meant to do something along the lines of shamanism, but because of the culture and family I was born into, I did not believe this was possible for me.
So I decided to go against myself and my inner knowing, and this led me to feel very lost, confused, and depressed.
Eventually, the pain of being disconnected from my soul grew louder than the fears and doubts I had about myself and my journey, and I again started to reconnect to my purpose and the path meant for me.
I slowly began to trust myself and my intuition. I have a sense of just knowing things even though I cannot explain how I know, I just know.
