Background
In August, I was searching for an Unsplash image for a story. In the wee morning hours in typical “owl” fashion, I continued encountering photo after photo of snippets of wisdom, inspiration, and pithy sayings.
Although none depicted the desired precise sentiment, they intrigued me. An aficionado of aphorisms, quotes, affirmations, and proverbs, I couldn’t escape their grip. Perhaps due to the lateness of the hour and being weary, my obsessive surfing continued.
Then, it struck me: If the images appealed to me, others might likewise appreciate them.
Why not share my research? I began saving them in a Docs folder, but alas, my collection became too substantial for one story. More than 100 photos were saved.
Prior Stories
I published the first piece. Then another. And more. All told I had collected an adequate number of photos for ten stories. Several “favorites” have landed on my personal inspiration wall.
I adore scrolling back through those pieces periodically.
