Nothing Is More Omnipresent Than Human Bias
And nothing a bigger lie than professionalism
It is said that even the most eloquent of devils can quote scripture. A spick and span dress with neatly combed hair and a carefully done beard does not preclude one from being a casserole (my euphemism for you-know-what).
Ideals lie resting on a piece of paper, and paragons perpetuate only as hashtags.
You donât realize how propagandistic the doâs and donâts of childhood learning are until you are unfortunate enough to see your âidealâ workplace colleague shed his mask. Nothing hurts more than seeing the facade of fidelity shatter like a poor-quality tempered glass. The fidelity everyone claims to have taken an oath of. The fidelity to professionalism and propriety.

The whole world has come to exist in a manner that blemishes on the conscience are more common than on the face. Nobody wants a stickler for sainthood. Lies and deceits, fueled by ulterior selfish motives, and executed by underhanded tactics, are the truth.
But of course, whoâs gonna tell this to elementary school kids?
