Spiritual Ascension | Aloneness & Detachment
“It is indeed lonely at the top.” — Ari Love
“Solitude is where one discovers one’s true self.” — Joseph Campbell
If you desire to level up spiritually, at some point, you’ll realize that you have no one but yourself. It is indeed lonely at the top. Aloneness and detachment are significant parts of ascension. They aid with self-mastery, self-confidence, and self-trust. Michelle Obama said, “Sometimes you gotta leave them there. Because you can’t carry people when trying to get to the top. It slows you down.” Bashar said, “To reach enlightenment, you must lighten up.”
When preparing to enter the final stage of ascension, family, friends, coworkers, and others may be a tremendous distraction. When preparing for a final exam, it is best to have mental clarity, and unfortunately, close relatives can intentionally or unintentionally cloud our judgment, misguide us, or make us question ourselves. Eventually, we must comprehend that our families are supporting actors in our life story. They can be antagonistic, protagonistic, or, in most cases, karmic. The last statement also applies to friends and romantic partners.
“If you are never alone, you cannot know yourself.” — Paulo Coelho
