How much longer will you worship the god of your colonizers?

A black woman responded to an article I wrote regarding religion. She was furious because she felt I was “misleading God’s people.” She went on a long rant and referred to me as “this woman” and explained that I was of Satan. She also shared that spirituality was demonic and that I am an antichrist. She called me every name but a child of God. Rather than going back and forth, I blocked her from my energy because it was clear that she must find her way to see the truth.

“Energy flows where attention goes…”

Let me hold your hand while I tell you this — your ancestors were some of the most spiritually aligned, mystical people on the planet. They were into astrology, numerology, and all sorts of divination. They worshipped nature, practiced witchcraft, and many had supernatural powers. Jesus, a black man, was also a powerful magician who performed spells. Like me, he was called a witch by those who wanted him to bow down to their false religion.

The god that you serve is not the God of your ancestors; it’s the god of your colonizers.
