Snowcapped mountains at night time with vivid white starlight connecting the sky and the earth in a Milky Way band

I walk this path, one-way streets never endured before
Distance frightening, yet it beckons and calls
Shimmering light to which I’m endlessly drawn
But then I — stumble and fall
Chasms form, appearing from nowhere at all
Whispers darker than mourning rain
Phantom claws
Friends come and then vanish again
Searing pain
Led down where cold burns my pores
Cement in my veins
Dragged to the floor and splattered with shame
No one knows my name
They don’t know who I am
I rise

Solace, my friend while I fail this game
Reflections of dreams, I may never
See again
Living an imposter lie
I fade away
Drifting in my sea of pain
Alone and afraid
Breathe animation so I’m no longer tame
No one knows my name
They don’t know who I am
I rise
