How Likely Are You to Be Assaulted By a Trans Person in a Bathroom?
No, for real, let’s do the math.
Under normal circumstances, I’m not a huge fan of mathematics.
I majored in English and make my living as a writer and journalist. Words are my happy place and numbers are my hell. But lately, I’ve noticed that words don’t really mean much of anything anymore.
Take, for example, our politicians in America.
They’re saying a whole lot of words without saying any numbers. When they do say numbers, those numbers keep changing. Still, some people cling to those numberless words like gospel. Then they use those numberless words to blame a small percentage of people for everything that’s gone wrong in our country.
If that was unclear, I’m talking about how transgender folks are apparently invading our bathrooms and assaulting our women in droves.
While the news has yet to report any specific instances, it’s supposedly gotten so bad that from using their bathroom of choice, and two states have made it a criminal offense. Congresswoman to stop transgender women from accessing federal bathrooms and locker rooms nationwide.
