Smashing the Dollhouse
Limiting Beliefs Can Pop Up Anywhere
Contagious anticipation and excitement swarmed by the chimney that Christmas morning.
Santa wondered, “Would the dollhouse meet Bria’s expectations?”
Her parents hoped it would keep her joyfully occupied.
However, there was a disclaimer.
To fill the dollhouse, Bria would receive a piece of furniture as a gift each holiday.
She was told, “Pieces are expensive and to be appreciated.”
The expansive nature of the gift was suddenly made limiting.
As the unassuming Bria took it into stride, she toughed it out and observed the dollhouse collect each piece until her interest waned.
Years later, the house was still left void of the potential it was initially meant for.
But the release of the limitation is way more expansive than the dollhouse could ever be.
