How I Integrated Ads on My Socials as an Amazon Ambassador

Last year, I was hired as Amazon’s Campus Manager for my university. My job was to integrate Student Prime ads into my socials and have an on-campus presence. I sent in some sample Instagram stories after a phone interview, and boom I got the job the next day.

It was a dream come true. I got to promote a company that I loved and used, and that sold itself. It’s Amazon for gosh sake. I knew how to use social media. I have an Instagram and a decent amount of followers for a regular college gal (about 1k), but before this job, I had never used it in a professional sense.

I’m not an influencer by any means. I’d never had brand deals or ads up on my page, so I was winging it. I did know that Instagram was popular, and especially their stories functionality. Like 500 million users actively viewing stories popular.
