My Diary Remembers You As My Sweet Little Girl
I get to celebrate you again as you were back then
Dear sweet daughter of mine,
As you know, I am embracing a simpler lifestyle.
I continue to go through my things and am now working on releasing notebooks and paperwork.
I found a few short diary entries I made while you were younger.
These are some of the moments I jotted down to remember, and I was hoping that you would eventually read them and know that I cherished every minute with you.

Today, you were sooo happy to go to daycare. Almost excited.
My heart softened, and I smiled broadly as I caught a glimpse of you through the daycare window as I left. You were dancing with Mindy*. Twirling and laughing while hugging your stuffed animals.
I am glad you have a good friend to dance with at daycare.
Thank you for allowing me to peek into your day.
