There’s a lot of flux going on lately
Medium. What an innovative platform. We flock here for a multitude of reasons. I found this site by accident. Had never heard of it before. Then, out of nowhere, I stumbled on the site while looking up books for my Facebook Book Recommendation Club.
I’ve been hooked ever since. As I recall, the platform had just undergone some recent changes back in the timeframe when I became a member. I joined on Aug. 4, 2021, and let me tell you, I swallowed what Medium was selling hook, line, and sinker. That is not a negative dig. I was all in.
It took me a couple of months to get rolling. The first month, I wrote two articles. In the second month, I wrote two articles. The next month, I wrote maybe 15 or 20. I can go back and count them up easily enough, but that’s a safe number. From that point, I wrote that same number of articles consistently, until recently. I’ve slowly tapered off only because of competing priorities.
But in August 2021, I remember reading a lot of articles written by members who said they were leaving. They were disgruntled with the site and had decided to part ways. I remember this clearly because I wrote about it…
