Japanese symbolic icons of 280 kinds, from monuments to foods to activities, capture the eyes of tourists or even local people. They bring you deeper than the well-known figures of Japan, such as Mt. Fuji, Sumo and Sushi; they also contain niche subjects, including Bonsai (miniature trees in pots), Nattō (fermented soybeans) and many more.

Universal design tools for all.

Pictograms are visual communication tools to provide the public with necessary information in daily life. They are all designed to be universal and easily recognisable for everyone across the globe, from children to elderly people of all genders, without any intervention of words.

Not only do they add pleasure for leisure, but they also serve safety and security purposes to prevent accidents and hazards. It is therefore crucial to be accurate and clear. The lineup also includes Inryo-sui (Drinkable Water), Shōdoku (Disinfection) and Oshizukani (Please be quiet). Here you can find the prominent part of Japanese creativity — with simple and delicate aesthetics, plus playful thoughts.
