I thought and chewed on the concept throughout numerous dog walks before returning to the same conclusion.

For me, that’s when I know I’ve made my decision.

I wanted simplicity. Clarity. A single point of emphasis. Allow everything else to drift into the background.

Excitement or challenge

So I got down and probed myself: What do you really enjoy doing? That has not altered in five years.

I love to write. That is what I want to do above everything else.

But I knew I wanted to return to learning. Books, classes, films, lectures, documentaries— I was losing the thrill of discovering something new and wanting to share it with the rest of the world.

So I wanted to return to studying in my own manner.

As a result, a new path emerged: the News-Break New York daily email, which focuses on more local stories and news topics.

So I determined that my task would be simple.

Every day, I ask myself one simple question:

Write a newsletter every day.
