Step Away From The Computer
Before You Reach Burnout In Your Business
Your business will not fall apart or shame you if you decide to step away from the computer today to just be.
Your clients won’t ostracize you or make you feel bad if you need to reschedule your meeting to a day where you’ll feel more like yourself.
You’re a human being in the business of working with other humans.
Problems will inevitably happen. There will be days where you don’t want to get out of bed.
Let that be okay. Normalize and prioritize your mental health. It’s the greatest asset you’ll have in business.
You’re in a paradigm where we show other business owners how much grace you can bring to the world of healing by embodying that grace upon yourself.
We’re not in the business of perfection. Or being performative. Or comparing ourselves to our peers — running a scorecard on who worked the hardest.
Productive self-flagellation when you’re running on fumes is NOT helping you. It’s not helping your clients. Forcing “it” is not the message I believe you want people to associate your business with.
If you’re reading this, and you feel like you’re one meeting away, one email from falling apart…
Go rest. Your business will be patiently waiting for you. It’s not going anywhere.
You’re okay.
