A Spring of Death

--

A poem that is trying to make sense of the American Spring.

A spring of death turned
into a river of blood and emptied
out into an ocean of hate.

A string of death burned
into me. I quivered. A flood entered;
spouted a potion of hate.

Aspiring breaths turned
into a dither. Mud interred.
He was routed by emotions of hate.
