We like to think that creativity comes and goes as it pleases; puts its little seeds in our brains, and makes them grow into gorgeous ideas, not necessarily when we need them, but when it wants to.

Well, you can also reach out and grab some creativity yourself.

So here are a few tips that might help you be more creative, get better at generating ideas and quite unique solutions for all kinds of situations.

Distractions can be good

Although getting distracted has a pretty bad reputation as that interferes with you getting work done, letting your mind wander off to wherever it wants to go does great things for your creativity.

The place that your brain decides to visit in the middle of you starting your project, for example, is the place where great ideas (or tools for coming up with them) are hiding.

The reason lies in you having the opportunity to connect dots that you weren't even supposed to see—the more you think about something that seems random, the faster you enrich your inner creative world full of all kinds of things that seem random, yet in the right time come in handy to create an association with another…
