Tar Heel Blue could be the new “Florida”

One of my favorite new internet phrases is “keeping the receipts”. The gist is simple; you make or watch someone make a prediction and it lives on forever on the “interwebs”. Our texts, tweets, and emails will make wonderful fodder for the aliens one day to parse through. But for now, we only have the things we are creating.

Well, here is my “receipt”. My map.

I think Vice President Harris will defeat former President Donald Trump in a really close election that will come down to North Carolina!

With all of the controversy surrounding Lt. Gov Mark Robinson and with Attorney General Josh Stein off to a large lead, it would be my semi-informed opinion that could really hurt former President Trump “up ballot”.

The state has continued to become a “prize” for democratic candidates. Now, that seems like a reality.

President Joe Biden narrowly lost the state in 2020 by around 70,000 votes. It would not take much for a Democrat like Harris to flip it.
