Kabir Das, reverentially called Sant (or saint) Kabir was 15th century mystic and poet who lived in India. Sant Kabir believed that the message of all religions is Love and that there is one One True God, who is beyond all religions. He prescribed the path of devotional Love towards the Divine as the easiest way to attain self-realization. His secular thinking is also reflective of his own life- it is believed that he was born to a Hindu widow and adopted by a Muslim weaver family.
