Since Women Will Be At Home Brewing Babies, Y’all Men Can Handle the Bills, Right?
If we’re going to turn back the clocks on abortion access, don’t forget that part where dudes cover the mortgage alone.
I Support This Family
As of today, I (a woman) earn four times as much money as my male partner. He enjoys life with a waterfront view, concierge service, and organic, small batch whiskey thanks to my hi-tech income.
But the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) doesn’t want Mike to live as a kept man, free from the tyranny of car insurance and AT&T upsells. SCOTUS would prefer that I, the reigning breadwinner, stay at home to grow and feed contributions to the global overpopulation problem.
My question is: who, then, is going to legislate that Michael get off his lazy ass and apply for a decently-paying job already?
Currently, Mike spends his days in our bedroom, responding to customer service inquiries from the luxury of his Surface Pro tablet and his Versace Logo Trunks (the ones he purchased with my credit card). He has previously worked as a retail associate at The Container Store and a volunteer firefighter.
