The Year In A Nutshell
Time flies. Doesn’t it?
Could remember about a decade ago I thought 2024 would be all about Sci-Fi and AI with machines everywhere.
Pretty close, right?
To be honest, I kind of think the past 364 days went fast, maybe it’s part of adulting. Well, I believe it’s been a better year, at the least.
Starting with the last day, I struggled to wake up knowing that I needed to resume my 9 to 5 job for the last day of the year. I knew I should’ve slept early the previous night but didn’t (couldn’t because my eyes were as wide as the sky, seeing the third season of “Lost” series).
First few days of the year:
Thankfully I had enough rest and was able to catch up with family and friends. However the day went fast and well spent.
If I could remember, I felt it was just the start of a month, not pressured as most people are. Anyways, I achieved one major thing that day — to set out my year goals as anyone would.
Out of about 10 of them, I only achieved three.
Bad? I know.
One remarkable goal I set was to read 12 books in the 12 months respectively.
Of course, I failed (*laughs*)
