Oh boy… Where do I even start?

When I first decided to pursue a Master’s in Data Science, I imagined a world of possibilities. I pictured myself building cool machine learning models, analyzing massive datasets, and walking confidently into a job market that would welcome me with open arms.

Some of that turned out to be true. I am building some pretty cool models. I have gotten my hands dirty (lol) with massive datasets and had the chance to learn and work with cloud services like AWS.

But the whole “confidently walking into the job market” part? Yeah… not so much.

The reality feels a little different. Okay, a lot different.

Being a data science graduate in 2025 feels like running a marathon while a hurricane blows directly into your face. Every job posting seems exciting at first glance! Well, until you read the requirements.
